Timo Toivanen (born in 1968) holds a Master of Arts degree in psychology. He has been working for HRD Group since 2000 as a recruitment consultant and as a partner since 2006. He mainly works with executive searches, in which his services are employed most by Finnish and international technology companies. Timo is also responsible for the company's international contacts through Taplow Group.
When the customer trusts in Timo's ability to find a solution directly and humbly, he is willing to outdo himself again and again – and his colleagues benefit as well. But where Timo’s heart lies most is with his family. As a nurturing father, he takes care of his three children in a detached house in Sipoo – ‘in the middle of nowhere’. Timo's greatest focus in life is the joys and challenges of living in the countryside. In this he sometimes feels a little helpless, which he hides under his effective tools and fantastic verbal acrobatics. Timo can fluently and impressively talk ‘psychology’ that ordinary people cannot understand a word of. Timo's sports showpiece is the standing long jump.
