Our unique personal assessment concept is based on application of our organisational psychological knowledge for business purposes.

HRD Group’s personal assessment process identifies the candidates’ competence, motives, and development potential and synthesises this information to form an integrated personal assessment report. We provide significant additional information on the candidates and make our views clear, to support the customer’s selection decision. The personal assessments are implemented by consulting with the customer, analysing the competence criteria, comparing the candidates, and preparing a well-reasoned selection decision.

The personal assessment starts with the initial meeting with the customer. The purpose of this meeting is to define the assessment criteria to which the consultant is to commit him- or herself. Then the consultant designs an assessment day including the following elements: two interviews (by two different consultants), exercises simulating the customer’s operation environments, and the work psychology self-assessment ‘Wopi’. Using these sources, the consultant compiles a personal assessment report to the customer. When comparing several candidates for the same job, the consultant prepares a separate matrix for the customer.

HRD Group’s personal assessment is performed by a qualified psychologist and always tailored to the customer’s needs. This is why it is often used in personnel development as well – for example, in analysis of supervisory potential. Our personal assessment considers the job and the customer’s business success criteria in the assessment process. The personal feedback to the candidate, both oral and written, forms a natural conclusion to the assessment.
